Two players we've been linked to previously from Hull - Maguire and Robertson are apparently on the way to Leicester and Burnley according to Hull forum not606. They don't seemed to bothered about losing Roberson... great going forward but can't defend according to them. They think £15m is good business.
If Robertson is off to Burnley means Robbie Brady might be available. @Mikey_Fitzgerald

These are my figures/thinking..

Pickford - committed up to £30m
Rooney - small fee/deal with Rooney/Man Utd - £5m-£10m
Sigurdsson - £30m
Klaassen - £26/27m
Sandro - £5.2m
Keane - £25m

roughly £120m. Rooney/Sigurdsson/Sandro can all play up front and we have the possibility of loans/youth like DCL/Lookman as backup. Much stronger than just relying on Lukaku.

Sales -

Niasse £5m
Deulofeu - £8-12m
Lukaku £75-90m
Barkley £25-30m (who knows maybe more?)
Cleverley - £8m
McCarthy - potentially £15m+ if we sell

£135m-160m if that happens.

It's possible we will still have that €100m war chest left for future signings, wheeling and dealing in that scenario, while getting in 6 fresh faces, internationals/hungry players who are focused on making Everton a CL club, and winnings things.

We would still need a solid Lukaku replacement, Rooney plays deeper nowadays and Siggy is a midfielder. We need an out and out number 9

So, so far this week, we have won the World Cup with 5 Everton lads in the team.

Looked to have broken the UK transfer record, (depending what figure you choose), and want to unveil the Ajax Captain as our 2nd signing of circa £30m.

Not bad that.
Can you not be so positive please. Some people in here can't reach those levels & they need protecting.

You made that last bit up
"Made it up" is a bit strong. Do you seriously get the impression that he'll be gutted if Barkley goes? Because I (and I'm not alone) certainly don't.

Not saying he actively wants him to leave, but not convinced he's desperate for him to stay either. And much as it pains me to say, I can see why. Sadly he's never massively kicked on from the player who made his debut all those years ago, as we'd all hoped he would.

I think it's telling that the club hasn't received an offer for Ross. If his potential next clubs are waiting for him to run down the last year of his contract at Everton, that will make it an uncomfortable last season for Ross in his last season and a financially crippling one for Everton.
