Just read this regarding the new Milan takeover and got my thinking why we didn't do this since Moshiri is definitely richer than their Chinese owner:

"Another concession from UEFA regards the relaxation of FFP two years ago, which allows clubs a period of accelerated spending as long as they present an affordable business plan. Last week, it emerged UEFA want clarification from Milan on a couple of points by October before signing off on it. Rather than slam their foot on the brakes, Milan are pushing ahead regardless, confident that their projections are right and not unrealistic. And besides, they have to make the Champions League next year. Serious questions remain but for now at least, enthusiasm is building and with it the hope that Milan are back."

Batshuayi, Lacazette, Mertens, Icardi, Ibra, Belotti, and even to a certain extent Giroud would be players I'd be throwing money at just to see if we could get one in.

Ibra will be out until about February and want £200k+ a week, but the rest are certainly worth a look

Stinks of utter Malaga still.

Evening all, both Valencia and Gueye have now been removed from the shop (I wasn't lying). Hopefully Gueye is changing his number. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!

Good names there mate but I'm very suspect about their want to be at a non CL club. More realistic targets (eg Andre Grey, King from Bournemouth) are where we might highly probably secure replacement for Lukaku.

Didn't their owner abandon them after things began financially go wrong?

We aren't YET big enough to attract those players. A few years with success will do it.

Pickford, Keane, Klaassen, Sigurdsson, Sandro.

Hell of a solid start to the window that. Doubt we'll get them all, but it's a very good calibre of player.
Big step in the right direction if true. I feel like this takes us closer to the top six but still lacking those one or two magic signings to push us right up there. Still a long way to go... and of course for all we know Arsenal might swoop in and buy them all instead ;)
