I speculate that Rooney, Sigurdsson, Keane, Klaassen and Sandro are the 5 alongside Pickford for around £120m. With Lukaku, Barkley, Niasse, Deulofeu, Cleverley and possibly McCarthy bringing us £135-160m.

keane 25
Sigurdsson 30
klaassen 25
pickford 18
sandro 5

that's 103mil ish

rooney hopefully wont come but if he did it would be on a free surely.

our sales should bring in north of 150mil

and the dutch paper says we have 90mil to spend....

EPIC POTENTIAL

A happy Lady. No longer shopping at Aldi, but now WAITROSE!!!

If we do have 100mil euro to spend and use it like this we would have around 15mil left over.

GK-Pickford/Robles
RB-Coleman/Kenny
RCB-Keane/Holgate
LCB-Williams/???
LB-Baines/Galloway
DM-Schneiderlin
CM-Klaassen/Davies
CM-Gana/???
LW-Lookman/Mirallas
CF-Sandro/DCL
RW-Bolasie/???

lukaku/barkley/McCarthy/deulofeu etc all sold would bring in perhaps 150mil +15mil

Would you be happy with this basic squad with 165mil to spend?

Im not happy with you taking made up figures from the Dutch media Zatman. It was the same last Summer, everybody screaming about a 100m warchest.

Lets see how the squad building goes and have a look at the end of the window.

I will say im very happy with oyr current targets Sandro, Pickford, Keane and Klassen all look good solid pick ups if we can get them ALL done, but we of course need more bodies.

That would leave the squad as the same size as it is now. No way would we go into a new season with a squad the same size as last year with European football to consider, albeit a lot stronger squad.

if it was true though, would you be happy with what we had left with 165mil and barkley/lukaku and others sold?

I'd be fine with that I think as long as the cash was spent on talent

EPIC POTENTIAL

These are my figures/thinking..

Pickford - committed up to £30m
Rooney - small fee/deal with Rooney/Man Utd - £5m-£10m
Sigurdsson - £30m
Klaassen - £26/27m
Sandro - £5.2m
Keane - £25m

roughly £120m. Rooney/Sigurdsson/Sandro can all play up front and we have the possibility of loans/youth like DCL/Lookman as backup. Much stronger than just relying on Lukaku.

Sales -

Niasse £5m
Deulofeu - £8-12m
Lukaku £75-90m
Barkley £25-30m (who knows maybe more?)
Cleverley - £8m
McCarthy - potentially £15m+ if we sell

£135m-160m if that happens.

It's possible we will still have that €100m war chest left for future signings, wheeling and dealing in that scenario, while getting in 6 fresh faces, internationals/hungry players who are focused on making Everton a CL club, and winnings things.

If rom goes for 90 then we should be spending 50 plus on a proven goal scorer.

60 and batman and I'd be happy with Iheanacho for another twenty.

We need goals.
