Couldn't agree more mate we're under no illusions about what goes on at these academics we've attended enough of them over the last couple of year and we've had our issues, but as long as he's enjoying it and wants to go we're fine with that....footy is so important, it really does develop life skills. It's why it's important to continue to play at any level. Your grandson is clearly a player, what I don't like is how clubs (including Everton) treat youngsters. It's as if they're doing you a favour to have them on board. Make no mistake, they treated Rooney differently.
If he's had a bad day, coaches should know that. Big thing is that he's not pressurised and enjoys his game.
