Heres me, hanging on to something, lets assume the window does indeed, in some way "open tomorrow", could it be that we have some signings lined up for this signing date?

ANYBODY??
Friday......

Crikey - tomorrow IS Friday!?!? Could it be....is this THE Friday that has been promised since days of yore?

If the window opens tomorrow, as Sky claim, do you think City will be fined for already buying 2 players???????

:coffee::coffee::coffee:

Those players would not have officially signed yet. Until i guess tomorrow or July 1st whichever is the official opening.

You can approach and deal with teams and players can agree to contracts as can clubs agree to fees but they cannot actually sign for the club until the official date. I guess the ratification of the agreement etc...

...Munir, Sandro and Deulofeu would be an interesting combination. I presume they know each other and might have played in the same Barcelona youth teams.

Do people honestly think the window 'opening' makes any difference?

You can sign players any time, they just can't play or be officially registered.

I don't know how many times I read it but it's laughable.

Those two players City have just announced? Suppose that was fake?

Munir's fee to Valencia was going to be €12m and Barcelona can buy back Deulofeu for €12m until the end of June. Some deal may be on the cards.

Oh I like watching the leagues I just meant I take the star players with a pinch of salt considering a lot of the opposition is terrible.

You should focus on the play-off 1; those are all decent teams. When they play each other you can make out a lot. The majority of these players normally go abroad after 1, 2 3 years. They can quickly buy new talented ones since the Belgian league doesn't have something like working permits, or issues with partly owning a player (legally; without using Big Sam) etc. Even the lesser teams take advantage of these rules; look at Eupen (very average team but still I like them because it's the only German speaking team in the first division); they do stuff with the Aspire Academy. Onyekuru leaves; they get three African 'superb' talents (According to them haven't seen them will see how they turn out; all I know it that they are playing in the U20 WC but that doesn't mean a thing) in place.

Oh and then you have the players that just display superior talent. Like Perisic, played in Belgium for three years. KDB, Yaya Touré (he was/is awesome), Kompany, Biglia, and loads of others.

Wish the owners of either of the Milan clubs would have bought us instead of Moshiri. Kenwright would never have allowed it however would have had to have fully given up his trainset.

From the official Premier League website:

The winter transfer window usually opens on the first day of the New Year and closes at 11pm GMT on the last day of January.

The summer transfer window usually opens on June 10 and closes at 11pm BST on the final day of August. These dates may slightly vary from year to year.

If deadline day is a weekend or a bank holiday, there is flexibility to go into the next working day, which is normally until 5pm.
