I'd rather do that than mess around all summer, not sign anyone we are supposedly linked with and end up loaning Enner Valencia on deadline day.
Been 5 days mate, you okay? As far as I'm aware the transfer window is a few months, not a week.

Plus imagine all the friendlies currently going on are preventing players from travelling anywhere they want?

What is the actual point of this guy. He's had since February to get deals ready but as always were slow out of the blocks. Too many cooks with Walsh involved, hard to see why some laud him.

..I don't disagree with the 'too many cooks' analogy but that is hardly Walsh's fault. As DoF he talks with RK about the managers requirements and works on identifying players to bring in. Kenwright is then centrally involved in communication and negotiation with clubs. I imagine (my view only) that Moshiri will want this process to be streamlined because I understand that BKs involvement is a source of major frustration.

A few months that we historically balls up spectacularly.

It hasn't stopped City, Liverpool or even Stoke getting business done early ffs

City have unlimited money, Liverpool are paying actual insane money to someone named Virgil and Stoke signed Darren Fletcher, the white Kone... What?

Do you want us to either a) overspend hilariously on players, or b ) get past-it players on freebies, just so we can slag the club off for doing so?

If you really want a player you have to spend the money, that's the way football has gone, I'm not saying do it all the time but sometimes you just have to pay.

Maybe if we stopped doing the same old crap season after season we might get an attitude change at the club

Okay mate so if we sign Pickford for 70m will you be happy? Or rather we actually do the negotiating bit until it's a satisfactory price?

It has been 5 days mate, get off here, go get a beer, sit in the sun for a day or two, enjoy life.

Board have probably learned from letting their potential signings slip out last year, the amount of words they and the players got.

Would imagine business would be back to behind the scenes this year, i hope anyway.

Long live the days when we got two transfer rumours a window and they both came in the transfer column of the Daily Mirror. Money has gone to peoples heads.

No because Pickford is nowhere near the level people try to make out. I'd spray money on VVD or that Koulibaly bloke we supposedly bid £50m for.

Beer and sun sounds pretty decent though like ;)

But does Koeman want him, or just you? I'd wager there's targets identified and talks going on, but there's also the international 'break', like.

And I'd be doing that if I wasn't in the office right now ffs!

In 2/4 weeks and we've had no real movement in the TM or we've only brought 1 or 2 fringe players in, tbh we might as well sack this fella. what a waste of w**k he seems to be...
