As much as it would make life infinitely easier for Walsh and Koeman, resolving the situations of Lukaku and Barkley before the window officially opens just wouldn't be the Everton way. It would feel wrong and dirty and I for one could deal with more uncertainty in the world.

Any reason we aren't interested in Morata or making moves for him? Seems pretty cheap given the circumstances. Has he said champions league football only?

..Tuesday's rumour round up;

- The Mail says Everton, Spurs and Manchester United are interested in Bolton's 16 year old midfielder, Max Broughton.

- The Echo reports Deulofeu might not have played his last game for Everton. If Barcelona do not take up their option to buy the player will report for pre-season training.

- Manchester Evening News and other outlets report Bayern Munich are considering joining the race to sign Romeu Lukaku.

- Sky Sports suggests Josh Bowler has turned down a new contract offer at QPR, edging the youngster closer to a move to Everton.

- A report from Ghana again links Everton with Chelsea left back Abdul Rahman Baba, but any deal will be dependent on the players recovery from injury.

- The Daiy Mail says Leicester are also interested in Everton target Gylfi Sigurdsson.

- Soccer Nieuws quotes an Anderlecht official saying if they get a decent offer for Everton target Lucasz Teodorczyk they will let him go. There is concern over his recent form, after scoring 26 goals in his first 25 games he has scored just 7 in his last 28.
