Yes he does but that's not what you said is it! You said he did recruitment for Mourinho as if he was the one bringing players in like sporting directors on the continent do but that wasn't the case.
The difference with us is that on certain players, more youngsters than anything, is that Walsh will have more of a say on who we buy as he will look to recruit for our future.
But why can't Walsh interact with his scouting team on players, scout players and also deal with negotiations? After all he's director of football and a lot of that will tie in with the job surely.
