Personally with us going long often I'd stick him up front and bring an actual winger on.

England very much on the back foot since kick-off and looking particularly Neanderthal in their play. Not sure if it's just youth team football but we always seem in awe against more exotic fluid teams.

DCL again unimpressive with touch and involvement but he's not a left winger. Feel sorry for him.

I was writing the same about DCL and then he scores. If his game is so limited to being a 'presence', scoring the odd penalty box goal, then I don't see how he will make a career for us. Hopefully there is something more there, but i'm not convinced.

Thought you were describing Lukaku then. He's a target man, clear to see, just needs games there.

Took it well, he isn't a winger , out and out center forward he will score if you give him the ball in that position, going to be a good player if people give him a chance.

..terrific. They all look comfortable on the ball don't they? I think 15 plays in Italy, its great if you can get these S Americans when they're young. The big CB for England is a colossus, I think he's actually a Canadian.

...D C-L probably a victim of his own hard work playing out of position here and doing all the right stuff when the opposition have the ball. You see the difference with Dowell, he sits in but a couple of times their LB has got in behind him.

Yes plays in Serie B. I do wonder why all these South Americans get snapped up early. Is it work permit issues or an English reluctance to take a chance? Man City and Watford have a few in this tournament.

..I imagine they have a tried and tested route into Italy and Spain that has been established over many years. I think Tomori is the Canadian boy but I might be wrong.
