Fair point. But I think when Roberts looks back on his career he may find that the Scottish Cup was not one of his finer achievements.

With him in the team England have a good chance of winning the competition because he's capable of doing those extra special things that win matches. I think you'll find that we'll be very hard to beat. Plus it's more experience at tournament football. A one sided game against Aberdeen will not give him the same experience imo.

Who knows though. It could have been the lads decision to stay. He's certainly been outstanding for them over the last couple of months.

to be fair aberdeen are the only team up there that might give them a game, not a complete walkover.
