Usmanov

Compared to ten years ago the value has increased vastly, plenty of foreign investors who just want the privlege of being a part owner of a premier league club.

If Usmanov wanted to be involved with us, he would have done it months ago.

Aye, probably.

Time will tell I guess. I have zero assumption he will rock up, but if he does, then great.

Blue really suits him, make it happen Comrade Usmanov.

Investment group would take his 27% shareholding in a flash. Arsenal makes good profits year on year.

Usmanov supports and follows Arsenal, not us. He had the chance to buy United but turned it down because he supports Arsenal.

Its a very small chance he would come here.
I agree but he also wants success and this could be the thing that drives him out to go and make that happen elsewhere. To me it shows he is growing weary.

maybe so, maybe not mate.

What this offer is though is a huge amount over the value for Kroenkes shares, IF Kroenke doesn't sell at that price offered (which i don't believe he will ever sell to this bloke), then he never will do so. Maybe thats what Usmanov wants the answer too.

What that means for us short and long term is up for debate ofc.

then again the amusing thing is he just offered 1.3b dolars for those shares, which shows what a drop in the ocean it is for him when he increased his fortune by 4b dollars this year alone...

It would be fantastic if he did.

I think he has played the long game for Arsenal, now is the perfect storm for him to make his move. He probably knew Kronke would reject straight away.

Crowd split over wenger, no champions league next season. Next week he will probably release a statement saying he is in London prepared to spend money to make Arsenal champions again. Going on he goes the games, while Stan is in the US. He will turn the anger into his favour.

Increase his bid and get accepted this time.

I never get why these rich blokes buy already established sides. Surely if your that wealthy and wanting a plaything you buy a club like Everton/West Ham/Southampton/Leicester like the Arabs at City and build a side up.

For me anyway, IF he wanted to get Kroenke to sell then launching a attack blaming him for the problems Arsenal have had this season a few months ago was strange timing as all it would have done is further reinforce his hatred for Usmanov and made him even less likely to consider any offer.

The entire situation is very strange, then again it's bloody billionaires we are talking about whilst sitting on fan forums lol

Location, location, location. Unfortunately. But our stadium move could improve that for us drastically!

think Dean had a lot to do with him originally coming into Arsenal mate, and at the time it was looking like he would be able to gain control relatively straightforwardly, then all sorts of stuff happened

Yep billionaires are a strange breed.

But Kroenke doesnt need the money. He needs Arsenal.

My own take on all this, Docks, USM, Usnamov, Moshiri, is that its all tied together with a lot of rich folk getting much richer via the whole Liverpool Waters development.

Mosh was set free from his Arsenal shares to front the whole thing, do the groundwork, for others to join in via contracts, developments, etc.

But its all speculation, and whilst good fun, until major share holdings change hands at Arsenal, speculation is all we have.

But lads hahaha kev told me he's got a big yacht and he's gonna sail it up the Mersey and all the kopite heads are gonna fall off haha

Frandel?

Ali will be incoming.

1. Make a bid
2. Fake outrage when bid is refused
3. Sell shares
4. Make Everton the PSG on England

Think it's frustration with me really wanting some rich fella to buy us and make us big dogs again. I'm grateful for Moshiri over Kenwright but anyone with any sense of realism knows Moshiri will never be able to bankroll us to the top and we'll always be below the top 6 realistically until we can compete on a financial level footing ie. A big money takeover.
