Summer Transfer Window 2017

I have a feeling that either Pickford or Sigurdsson will be snatched from infront of our noses

This is huge summer and it better not be the summer of fume

So barkley want and will be good enough for spurs who are miles better than us and u want rid? Would it not be better to get rid of some of the utter dribble players around him and put decent players in there and we might see what spurs will see in him

IF he won't sign a new deal then Koeman wants rid. Think Koeman would like to keep him but it's the situation we're in, we can't afford to lose him for nothing IF he doesn't sign new terms at the end of the season or before. And I personally don't think he is good enough for Spurs but if they want to buy him then that's their choice....

Could see something in this. Koeman personally scouted him a few times through out the season before last week Europa game! And by all accounts he's ready to leave in the summer?!.....

Honestly have no idea why he hasn't signed, or if he will do anymore mate, and equally honestly - i am getting towards the point of not really caring if he does anymore.

Don't wanna play for us, then don't - clubs bigger than any one player - homegrown blue or not

Agree mate. Like with Lukaku, we'll move on from whoever moves, we always do....

Koeman doesn't really play like that though, he's kind of been forced into that. He's a 4-3-3 man and will no doubt revert to it IF he gets the players in he wants.

And it is about options and I'm sure Koeman would like to keep Barkley as he is a good option amongst the squad but he's still not signed that new deal and Koeman as said if he doesn't he goes and I think that is the more likely out come right now....
He's going to play with at least two defensive middys tho. That's our club. That's what we have. in terms of 3 up front, if he wants true wide players, that's another story. But to me, Sigurdsson and Barkley behind Rom makes a lot of sense. Gyfil is not a CM. I could see Tielemens as that CM, too. Davies can play there, but I think we will see more of Gana, Morgan, and Davies rotate into those 2 DM spots.

But let's say he is willing to play 4-2-1-3 or 4-2-1-2-1, whatever you want to call it, to play narrow, he'd need an attacking ACM duo like Ross and Gyfil (or Rooney), but he'd want a couple wingers at times to play more 4-2-1-3 you'd think. But man, he better find a true CM or get Ross to be a bit more versatile.

Still doesn't solve the issue in the back, though.

I'm worried about our lack of real pace going forward. Everything at the minute is either channeled through the middle of the pitch, or forcing players wide who shouldnt be there, like Lukaku.

Would like to see one or two dynamic attackers come in, real width is something we've been lacking for a while, and whilst the modern game requires a lot of modern full backs, there are opportunities in a game where the wings can be exploited by forward players.
