He's done with us for sure now after the Ireland fiasco but with his injury record I'd say £15m and that absolute maximum.

Player prices have gone silly mate and will continue to go up and up this season, in a world where Ibe goes for 15m, McCarthy will get 20m

McCarthy seems almost a nailed on 'out' this summer, think we will get 20m or so for him, which ultimately will represent very good business

...I was surprised we didn't move him on in January. I think RK liked what he saw v Arsenal and the Reds at home but the hamstring injury was always bound to return. I think we'd get £15m-£20m, perhaps nearer £15m.

Prices go up but he's a risk and he's not exactly a match winner. I liken his situation to Sturridge's but he scores goals so would command a higher fee.

I would agree but think his injuries might lower that even. I certainly wouldn't pay more no matter what the market does. We paid 23m for Morgan and James is half the player.

I was being fairly optimistic there. We did pay like £11m so can't see us accepting less since when fit he's still a good squad player for us.

Cant see him going for more than 15. Hes a big gamble now with his injury record. He may well have played through a few injuries under martines and probably caused ireverasble damage. He was never the same player after his first season with us.

Looks like we could be in for a long summer..

According to Cadena Ser, Diego Costa has signed a pre-contract with Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.

That update comes after Costa was spotted out with super-agent Jorge Mendes last week.

It’s now been claimed that Costa and Mendes were meeting with representatives of Tianjin, and that Costa has signed a pre-contract that will see the Spain international earn €30 million per year.

However at the end the article says they'd be in for Morata so Rom may not leave after all

I thought that Chelsea centre half who replaced David Luiz on Sunday looked decent.

I can't remember his name but he had dreads.

I'm afraid of that too. So what to do? Tottenham found some way...

Davis will be our hero im sure.

Bought a solid foundation (keeper, defence, midfield) gambled on the attack with blooding youth. Get champions league football.

For some players you don't need to "win" things if you're just competing.
