David Moyes isn't worried about fatigue when Everton face Newcastle.
The Blues travel to Newcastle on Sunday, having returned from Ukraine in the early hours of Friday morning.
This is the third week in a row in which the Toffees have had both midweek and weekend fixtures.
But Moyes believes this is benefiting his side.
"The players are tired because of the traveling but I am not too bothered about the high-intensity of Thursday's game," Moyes told evertonfc.com.
"I think the games coming so quickly has actually helped us. We may not have played as well as I would have liked but maybe it is a good sign that you are winning when you are not playing that well."
The Goodison chief recognises that Sam Allardyce's side are a work in progress, and hopes his side can come away with a positive result.
"Newcastle's home form at the moment is very good but they are a changing side," Moyes said."Sam is changing things around and made one or two additions in the summer. It is always a difficult task going there but one we are looking forward to.
"We can go there with confidence and try to play as well as we can do."
Whatever happens at St James' Moyes wants to see more of the grit that was evident in Thursday's Uefa Cup win.
"Great determination and courage from the players on Thursday because there were periods in the game where Metalist played quite well and probably gave us as many problems as any side we have faced in the Premier League," said the boss.
"But the players kept going, kept their focus and tactically we were able to change. The players showed a great willingness to change and try different things and that certainly helped us. Hopefully they will be ready for the game and prepared as well."
