in theory mate you could say the same about Lukaku. Sure he played for Anderlecht but the standard of the Belgium league is akin to the Championship. We got Lukaku on loan and he needed developing loads and we didn't own him to start with.

Maybe we should get batfink, Abraham and keep Lukaku for good measure.
True, but Lukaku had already banged nearly 20 for West Brom the previous season, so not really the same thing.

Haha crazy numbers flying around concerning him. Over 100 million.

Kid is outrageous.

OK to be honest hadn't really heard of him until recently, an Arsenal fan said they were looking at him. Apparently they are saying Wenger is staying and will be given a pretty hefty transfer budget with Sanchez likely to leave. Pretty impressive stats so far, but insane if that's the prices being put out, especially for a kid.

Batshuyai....whats the attraction?

He has a similar record to Lukaku in Marseille and Belgium. He has a years experience in the Premier league, with not a bad goals per minute ratio. In build and style he seems similar to Lukaku. He's a good age and can improve quickly to get to the level we are looking for. He would be easy for us to get as part of the Lukaku deal at what should be a reasonable price (which will be harder than we think if we get a huge wedge for him). His stock has fallen after 1 bad year at Chelsea, yet as an asset in general he is a good player, and had he had the years he's had at Chelsea at say Bayern people wouldn't be as critical.

He's by no means perfect, but I'd be delighted if we could get him as part of a deal along with Abrahams for Lukaku. I'd go big for Martial then and think we'd have a young, mobile, powerful, potent strike force.

IF there is a swap deal( doubt it since it never happens) between Chelsea and Everton for Lukaku, i think you guys would be better served going for Batshuayi as he is more experienced and you guys need to push on next season, which would give Abraham little time for adaptation.
Besides, it looks like we only made Abraham available for a loan and i dont see the point in you guys getting a striker that still needs to develop alot and never played top flight football in his life and not even own him.
Bats no brainer IMO

You talk strange for a Brazilian native.

Either an expat or the schools over there are teaching some mad English.

Either way, a Brazilian based, 21 year old Chelsea fan screams key board/FIFA plasticy johnny come lately to me, and as such, his views on English football become irrelevant with zero credibility. To me anyrate.

Might ask him about Bristol City beating Chelsea 3 1 as a Div 2 side a few years ago. Bristol were Div 3 iirc.

lol, as if Arsenal stood a chance of signing him, every single top club in Europe is looking at him
They are only mentioning him so Wenger can say that he nearly signed him in 10years time when he's a superstar.

Honestly, just look up all the world class footballers Wenger now claims he nearly bought.
Comedy Gold.
