No chance mate.
Far be it from me to hand out support to that scurrilous scumbag, but there's no way he'd have known about Barkley's heritage when making that insult.
Makes it worse then.

Very sly dig from Mark Lawrenson in his weekly predictions...

Everton v Burnley
![]()
Burnley beat Everton at Turf Moor in October thanks to a last-minute goal but it is going to be extremely tough for them to repeat that on Saturday.
Since suffering their only home league defeat of the season, against Liverpool in December, the Toffees have won seven league games in a row at Goodison Park, scoring 26 goals and conceding five.
I think Everton's excellent run will continue - and maybe Ross Barkley will deliver the knockout blow.
Lawro's prediction: 2-0
Sting & Joe's prediction: 2-1
"Implied racism".You're such a [Poor language removed] davek.
You were doing well up until that point,iv never seen a midfielder lose possession so much as Ross did in the recent derby!virtually every time he was given the ball,he lost it.As a self confessed signed up member of the Ross Barkley fan club you won't be surprised to learn that I heartily disagree with you on both counts.
Ross does use his physicality and his power. He is excellent at retaining possession of the ball and is rarely outmuscled. How many other midfielders in the premier can you name that make those powerful surges from deep setting up most of our counter attacks. There are some but not many. And his work rate has improved tremendously under Koeman.
As regards wages, I would say between £100k and £120k is fair if Rom has been offered £140k. He could expect that and more if he went to the likes of City, United or Chelsea. If you want us to compete with these clubs we have to go some way towards matching the sort of salaries they pay. That applies to new signings too if we are to attract them here, so when Joe Bloggs comes in on £100k pw how is Ross going to feel on £80k pw when he carries the burden of being our main creator?
I said in my post that he isn't irreplaceable and I believe that. But I'd still much rather have him playing for us than against us.
How do you know he didn't?"Implied racism".
How on earth do you KNOW that idiot meant it that way?
About three posts ago you referenced amount of chances he's created. Unfortunately you've tied yourself up in so much antagonistic bullcrap you have no idea where you're up to.That WAS a good ball. But it stood out like a sore thumb from the rest of his game, which is now basically bits and pieces and largely unadventurous.
Makes it worse then.
He's just airing on the side of caution and not defending the club and it's players and it's city's mayor. How do you know he didn't?
What? You really love to sell our good players.
Face the reality. He would not and should not wait and sit on the bench. No way it is going to happen.
He is in his prime and will make sense if he signs a new contract at his boyhood club. Playing week in week out.
Why didn't you simply say that in the first place? Instead of turning the blame elsewhere? How does it make it worse?
And by the way I completely condemn the rat for saying what he did. But that 'race' thing looks like a reach.
Very dubious charecter back in the day.Mark Lawrenson is an utter bulb of the highest order. Too many Kopite two-@s working for the BBC.
