Burnley beat Everton at Turf Moor in October thanks to a last-minute goal but it is going to be extremely tough for them to repeat that on Saturday.

Since suffering their only home league defeat of the season, against Liverpool in December, the Toffees have won seven league games in a row at Goodison Park, scoring 26 goals and conceding five.

I think Everton's excellent run will continue - and maybe Ross Barkley will deliver the knockout blow.

Mark Lawrenson is an utter bulb of the highest order. Too many Kopite two-@s working for the BBC.

Ross does use his physicality and his power. He is excellent at retaining possession of the ball and is rarely outmuscled. I said in my post that he isn't irreplaceable and I believe that. But I'd still much rather have him playing for us than against us.

You were doing well up until that point,iv never seen a midfielder lose possession so much as Ross did in the recent derby!virtually every time he was given the ball,he lost it.

About three posts ago you referenced amount of chances he's created. Unfortunately you've tied yourself up in so much antagonistic bullcrap you have no idea where you're up to.

Why didn't you simply say that in the first place? Instead of turning the blame elsewhere?
 

No way is Ross going to Spurs. He wouldn't fit with their slick one-touch type of play.

To be honest I can't see any of the top four or five being interested in him.

Maybe he could join Newcastle for big money but he would do well to sign the contract here and get on with it.
