Ross Barkley

Kenwright knows big Blue Barkley will sign (or so he thinks/counting on) so he's just saving on the added wages he'll have to pay if he offered him one now/the past couple of months mark my words.

Sooner that fraud is out the door the better.

Personally, I doubt whether BK is as directly involved in contracts as he used to be, otherwise there's little point in the majority shareholder sanctioning and funding the appointment of a DoF.

Maybe so but whats the difference in a couple of months wages when most premier league teams are haemorrhaging money every week on crap they don't really want?

If you are Ross' agent and you see that Lukaku hasn't signed £140k a week, you would be waiting until that situation has unfolded before signing or rejecting.

If the contact is on the table, Barkley will sign because I just cannot see him moving to another club above us.

Remember this is the bloke who was haggling over a couple or million that dragged the Schneiderlein transfer on until we got dumped out the FA Cup and Koeman lost his rag.

Mark my words mate Kenwright will still have influence in transfers and contract negotiations. If it was Walsh he would have simply said 'I haven't offered Ross one yet' when asked recently he probably does have some input but Kenwright is still hanging around like a bad smell.

Surely that's a one off.
Not heard about any other problems with Barkley and his extra curricular activities.

Reckon he has been on notice and probably just proving a point total footballing wise, and then the early hours of Monday morning happens.
Barkley frustrates the hell out of me, there is undoubted talent and ability, however, there is something missing a lot of the time, I thought for sometime it was the bad injuries in his teens. However, he looked woefully unprepared for this season start, maybe Martinez hangover. But starts winning the doubters over and then this incident coupled with 1 year on the contract.
So I'm left wondering if he has not got the attitude and that's the problem an upward moving Everton have with him, in that those who professionaly know him, see this flaw and have wound down the contract because of the risk. And If he is not careful the MoM against Leicester is as good as it gets and that would be tragic.

The daily star have just put out a scummy article quoting Charlie Adam and some random 'everton fan' on a football forum claiming he's better off down south with the headline 'football fans and players beg Barkley to leave the City of Liverpool'

Absolute scum the media are in this country no doubt they said the same over Gerrard oh wait. Surely the club can start banning these bias top 6 journos?

I know you're wumming mate but, seriously re-read some of that e.g his pinnacle is MoM against Leicester etc. o_O

If this is true, it's madness how Kenwright still has a massive hold on what we do as a club, he's done his job in getting us a decent investor, he now needs to F off and continue selling out Blood Brothers and let someone else deal with the contacts.

That's right mate, but I'm possibly moving to the Lower Gwladys next season
Have you prepared Mikey?
