They all offer things that Ross doesn't. In an ideal world he stays and we add to the squad. But until contract is signed, he's going.

Liam Walsh - Wants to be here and wouldn't have to force him to tackle.
Siggz - Creates and scores more goals in a shoddy team.
Son - Scores more goals and would offer support replacement for Rom.
Isco - Better.
Mahrez - Faster, trickier, backs himself.

Just saying there are a multitude of options out there.

Was listening to TalkSport "Drive" last week. I do enjoy it simply because it's @davek on the radio AKA Adrian Durham.

Some evertonian came on saying the same guff - "Barkley isn't that good - get shut".

I've never been a fan of the saying "do you even watch the games" but it is clear that some don't.

He's been absolutely brilliant this calendar year. Why would we want to get rid?!

Mahrez would still cost about £40m, I don't think we're in need of him that much to spend such a ridiculous fee on.

Genuinely mate I think we would struggle with Son and / or Isco. Top players who will want Champions League.

Also, really not sure how you can say that the two kids have going for them that they "want to be here" yet we don't know their thoughts long term nor Barkley's.

The only problem Ross has ever had is between his ears. Koeman's tough love seems to have sorted it out. A big money move could be devastating for him...and I think he knows it.
