They earn enough money to build their own little town with nightclubs and pubs etc and to fill them with actors who can pretend to be revelers and who wont punch him.

If I was a pro footballer (and I should be..) I certainly wouldn't be going out in my home town, especially in a two club city.

If I were a pro footballer in a different city or country then yes i'd agree with you. But if you grew up in Wavertree, in this city - with normal mates, and your mates are going out - you're going to go.
