Not a bad shout mate. I've gone for Runswick Royal in this but that's probably a bit of my heart ruling my head. He was an old favourite of mine back in the day when he was a decent chaser and he's going through a bit of a renaissance as a hurdler.

My mates who I was at the races with yesterday are serious betters. I just do it for a bit of fun. But I was quids in yesterday and they both lost big time. They've gone again today and I jokingly texted them with a few tips, of which Runswick Royal was one. The word "disdain" doesn't do their response justice:)

£40 where I went mate, in the Earl of derby terrace. Tatts is only £25 on the Thursday I think but the Derby Terrace is a bit more civilized, proper toilets, less queues at the bar sort of thing.

Bit more expensive today and silly prices tomorrow. Never been on the Saturday. Normally go Thursday and Friday but got something on tonight and as we generally give it the bifters I thought it best to give it a miss this year.:)

Slightly cheaper than Cheltenham then so. Those southern bells charged us fifty plus the queuing was ridiculous.Never again unless I end up owning a horse so they'll be no queuing or paying!

Finished 2nd, get money back as a free bet though as paddypower refunding 2nd finishes. Will save it for the national.
 
The starter is very inconsistent here.

If he makes a mistake tomorrow and they have to have a standing start, it will be carnage.
 
That was very impressive from Fox Norton. There goes my L15 (well any significant profit anyways) but that's horse racing. Better horse won.

It's a lottery mate. Close your eyes n go enie menie minei mo n pick one of the forty n back it each way n you have as much chance as any of us who have an almost daily punt. Having said that I'm backing More of That @ circa 14/1 cause he's been good to me in the past namely back in the 2014 World Hurdle at The Cheltenham festival. But seriously he could fall at the first so...
