I have got Davek on ignore on the laptop but not on my mobile and actually having to scroll through his bitterness and bad will today has been
awful. As a football forum first and foremost everyone should be allowed to talk and express their opinions freely but i feel his contribution is nothing more than a crusade against Kenwright which in turn has manifested into a grudge against the club itself and every good move the club makes is wrapped up in a conspiracy and treated with over the top suspicion.

Can someone please have a word??

It's a substantial investment by the owner of Everton FC into the city of Liverpool. He has bought the most iconic building in Liverpool with the Liverbirds as the symbols of the City. Together with the Bramley Dock Ground, this is a statement that he wants to be part of the City's development. This will play well for Everton with the council and is in direct opposition to the destruction performed by some group of Americans who have shown no interest in the development of the City.

We now have the council with us, we have an agreement for the council to support our ground move and we have an owner who now owns the City's most iconic building. It's not a player on the pitch, but it's getting all the right people behind the club. This is substantial and it has a great deal to do with EFC and our future.........
Nothing has happened. Nothing. It's plans and that's it.

Liverpool's owners down the years have owned such landmarks as the Empire and St John's Tower. Means nothing.

Ok, I've had a word and have decided I prefer his posts.......

I honestly don't know how anyone could not see this as a positive.

Moshiri, until he bought shares in Everton, had absolutely zero stake in the City of Liverpool. I think many on here were afraid that he'd be an asset stripper and bleed the club dry.

Now, a little over a year later, he's bought an icon of the city, and has us well on our way to a new stadium. At the very least even the most negative ninny should be able to see he's here for the long haul and the fears of being an asset stripper should be gone.

From RAWK

"Moshiri is a clever fella. Little things like this are bound to keep the blues on side and give him more time to deliver.

This deal was effectively done months ago by the way. Nice way to distract the blues from yet another derby day defeat though."
