Yes mate, we're gutted. Our heads are falling off. Hope the [Poor language removed] doesn't buy Paddys Wigwam and turn into a mosque or summat next!

Yeah he's just an accountant, not that rich really, stadium hasn't even been built yet...Everton debts cleared, LFC's debts rising year on year, nothing to see, nothing to fear....

How does the sand taste, Friend?

This is classic Everton, release pointless snippets of news during bad footballing weeks to quell the fan base. Honestly is this any more significant than when Kenwright would acquire the rights for a new musical?

If the Peel proposals for the docklands go ahead as planned then an iconic building like this is going to increase hugely in value.

I wonder if the intention is to move the administration of Everton FC into the building in time.

In the longer term I think there may be opportunities to use this building as a promotional tool for the club, but we will probably have to wait to see what format that takes.
If the new stadium goes ahead, if the owner of Everton FC also owns a property such as this and there may be more to follow, it will certainly raise the profile of club/owner in the city and probably beyond.

I think the Everton project is still in it's infancy . We possibly may have to endure a couple of more derby disappointments before things change permanently.
