Personally thought Joel had a brilliant game tonight, two or three top class saves! I can remember him flapping at one cross in particular though, and i feel as if his distribution could have been better

Every time a high ball went in the air I never felt uncomfortable, even though there was a posse of Mancs surrounding him.

He was immense.

Sure, he made a dodgy decision one time.

De Gea is supposed to be the best goalie in the league but I though it was comical the way he let Jag's goal in through his legs.

I think it was probably a case of Ash losing his head a bit and the panick set in. I don't really blame him massively as he did have a very good game and were under a lot of pressure at that point. Looking on the bright side it was in the main a good performance with out a fair few key players, we have misded Snides we really did need him for these last 2 games.

Indeed.

A superb performance, especially coming so soon after Saturday's disappointment.

People should not expect signings this summer.Koeman is trying to blood the youngsters ready for next season .
Actually his method of blooding the youngsters have saved us millions, we don't need RB cover with Holgate doing well, Davies still learning but is a superb midfielder that type of player would cost us 20 million, I would say the jury is out on LCL, Pennington as they really haven't played enough, but I'd like to see 5 regular home grown players in our 16 man match day team by the end of next season.

I'd disagree on the bit about holgate - he's not helping us going forward, he gets there but there's no expectation of him making anything happen, and it's unbalancing the side as we rely on our fullbacks for width in this system. Though from pre Coleman days that is a very familiar situation for evertonians....

Not even close.

I meant in terms of their performances this season. Their 6th, we're 7th. We both rely on a star striker to score the vast majority of our goals otherwise we'd be way further down. We've won the exact same amount of games. We've both lost at home only once all season. We absolutely should not be happy with anything other than a win against them.

I really thought Mirralas should have stayed on a bit longer, (just my amateur opinion) . We really needed a second goal. In the end they were really going for the equalizer, and kept us busy defending. We seemed to have so little killer finish with our counter attacks, (Rom). Looking at the big picture, we did well considering the hole left by the likes of Snides and Coleman. Much better energy than "black Saturday", but still a lot to do.
A distracted Leicester next, then Burnley, so surely a chance to cheer us up, and put us back on course.

Depends what you classify as home grown but, officially, we do have 5 regulars: Lukaku, Barkley, Davies, Baines, Lookman, DCL, Jagielka, Barry (maybe even Coleman, Williams, McCarthy count)

I had todo an airport run tonight so was listening to the radio when the penalty was given.

Feels sickening after the derby TBH !!!

How come Mirallas was taken off ? Did I hear Lukaku and Williams had an argument ?
Yeah, lukaku was [Poor language removed] again. Played selfishly and gave away possession too cheaply.

Just got done with the game. Sickening to lose points that late in the game but would have taken a draw before it started.
Was calling out for a central midfield sub around the hour mark, just fresh legs to match their subs. Injuries are killing us.
Overall thought - at least we showed up today.

Meaningless late season dead rubber.

I knew we wouldn't lose since as we had nothing riding on the result the fear gene wouldn't be activated.

I suppose it would have been nice to hang on for the win given it was Old Trafford but in truth what did it matter one way or the other?

On way home now. Absolutely gutted! Should of killed the game on the break. But Ross and Rom seemed to playing as individuals rather than together.

Why couldn't we just hang on :( sly the way things like this always happen to us.

Oh n the ref was terrible
Just got in. Gutted. Up in 6 hrs now for a 12 hr shift. Still scratching my head why Lookman wasn't given a chance against a tired defence who would of had to kick him to stop him. Rom pisses me off with his hero runs that see him pushed wide trying shots from angles he's not gonna score from. See Zlatan for hold up play please, Lukaku.

Very Unlucky at the end. But what a performance after the Derby. Players feeling like [Poor language removed] since Saturday and go get a draw in OT. I honestly think there is a gr8 team their that will fight to the last for the Jersey, but still their is serious amount of moaning here as if we should be beaten United away every weekend. Get over yourselves
