I am beginning to think did Everton have a set programme for him,and hes now back on it etc,but he was involved a bit earlier than expected when he was picked by us because of injuries etc,i just dont get why he hasnt been getting a chance even from subs bench myself, even the game were he was a bit bad compared to the other games he played,he still had quite a few very good chances that he could have scored,and has created a few and has a number of chances to score in the games he involved in

I honestly don't think it does.
Its good for the fans, a few extra games and some trips to places you normally wouldn't go to. I reckon most players would prefer to have their Thursdays off. Its sad like as the UEFA Cup used to be fantastic.
Good wages will attract better players which hopefully we will be able to provide.
Yeah, even if we stumble West Brom needs to continue to play well, i just don't see it happening. Now that they're where they are, I can't see them having the desire to continue to grind out results like if they were 5 points above relegation
But they are hardly going to lose games on purpose, whether they want EL football or not.
If that gap is three points by tonight I would start to worry about us holding on for the 7th Place Trophy, given we still have Arsenal to visit and that is another place we are assured of not winning at.
It probably would......just not the type of player we want to either keep or attract

Silly to suggest WBA don't want it. They will, club, fans and manager. Why wouldn't they?
Europa League would attract better players, but not top players. Could argue it's how Spurs have progressed nicely.

West Brom fans were saying it themselves before the home game against them. Reckoned Pulis had fallen out with the board over January transfers and didn't want Europa as the squad would not cope.

Complete hearsay, just like the stories we hear on here that aren't true.
A club like WBA would benefit massively from Europa League, that's their target, they dont have the resources to go for top 4. It would boost their profile, attract a better quality of player, not the top quality, but a better quality.
Easy for Evertonians to say "dont want it" cause we've been in it and had random away trips, extra games (which as a fan I LOVE Everton playing more). WBA haven't been in it, nor has Tony Pulis im correct.
What football clubs say in public is very different to what they believe.
What are they going to do?? Purposely lose games? Rubbish.
