Are we the fans to blame?

We need to get two plane messages. One saying "Koeman & Moshiri Out" for when we're losing, and another that just says "standing" we can deploy just behind it for when we win.

We need to be involved in big games every season. Continued involvement season on season in the Europa league knockout stages and later rounds of the domestic cups would lessen the profile of these league away games. We only have 3 or 4 big games a season at the moment that the players seem to obsess over and work themselves into paralysis on the day. If we had big games coming thick and fast every season the fear factor might disappear.

We won't though. And the fact that i can say that with almost 100% certainty is the most galling thing of all. The sides below us approach these games as a free swing, they know once in a while at some point they'll have their day. The sides above go with genuine ambitions of competing. we are the only team in the league that has developed this ridiculous mentality of being scared witless at any away game against the top 6. I've had it with this ridiculous optimism I get every time we go on a good run. Everton always let you down. This has just been a carbon copy Moyes season. They threw away the cups, lost every important game of note, then played a bit of decent football at home against sides below them in the second half of the season to make the finish look ok. We should be demanding a reaction in the summer. We need upgrades in most key positions across the park. Pace power and a winning mentality with leadership must be brought in.

I've thought for a while that (with the exception of the last 2 seasons) we are in a kind of tricky middle ground. In that we are a class below the Champions League teams but a class above most of the other teams. It means that teams that we have an expectation to beat teams above us sometimes. It also means that a lot of the teams below us come to Goodison and 'shut up shop', which is why we drop a lot of points against these sides at home. My point is we don't get these 'free swings' against the top teams.

I seem to recall that some of the more dedicated Martinez Cultists tried to start a movement last season whereby the Goodison crowd would be blamed for the teams poor form because they had the temerity to not find crap defending and endless sideways defending entertaining or enjoyable...

Same ones now saying that fans are irrelevant and it's all Koeman's/Moshiri's fault.

What i mean by this is do we make it a bit too easy for the players.If we meet them in the street or in a bar or restaurant do we go over and ask for autographs or photos when we should be telling them how crap they were.I expect that the next home match they will be met by people clapping and looking for photo opportunities as they get out of their cars when they should be told what exactly what we think.I wont be doing it cos i will be in the pub and thats the problem.

I have written some [Poor language removed] in the past but this really does take the biscuit.

I don't have an issue with giving them a hard time at the game when they are not performing but whilst down the street doing their shopping FFS.

My best mate works for Land Rover but I don't [Poor language removed] him off down the street because my gearbox has just died.

So it's a big game, win it and we are into europe, Rom hasn't been playing too well but a win will see us into the europa cup and Rom steps out of his Bentley prior the game with a rumour he is just about to sign his contract and up steps latchmac the red - eh Rom, any chance you pulling your finger from up your arrrrrse and getting a goal for us today?

Rom instantly scores a hat trick and signs for life, or does he just leave.

What a knob. :mad:(n):rant::red:
Dont know whether to report you,not for calling me a knob but for calling me a red.As you can maybe work out from my username ive been going a while.Latchnmac was a scarf i wore in the 70s.Oh just renewed season ticket for 33rd year on the run.So not only a knob i am no doubt a super fan as well xx
