True, but DCL scored in his last game, and there were lots of players who didn't offer anything.

Pre kick off I thought the line up was as good as we could have hoped for , bearing in mind our injuries.

DCL should have got the hook earlier though.

To be fair DCL did score a tap in early on but also offered nothing after the goal against Hull at home.

Whats happened to Lookman ?

I know what you're saying mate, but he sat there and watched the same game as we did, and piss poor performance would have been my response if someone had just asked me as the final whistle went what it was like.

Fair enough, can't argue with that and I'd have said the same as I was raging with everyone else but we don't get paid to think about the future of Pennington or how not to destroy DCL's confidence after what was a great 2-3 weeks for him. Maybe I'm taking my first steps as an apologist for him like our favorite friend with an orange for a head was for RM but I just don't know exactly what he was "supposed" to do in the circumstance.

tbh Mirallas hasn't offered much attacking threat in about 4 years

Scored for Belgium last week and did more in 10 mins today than most the team.

I think he should have made changes at half time, Mirallas on for DCL (Mirallas should have started) and Pennington off as well. I've gone off on one a bit much given it's just one result in amongst a load of decent results recently, but I just detest those smug knobheads so much.
