Look at this squad. There's Robben and that's that. The rest is absolutely bang average, their talent pool is nowhere near what it's been in previous generations. Add to that the high expectations of the dutch people. I wouldn't touch that job with a ten foot pole if i was a manager in one of the best leagues in the world.

Honestly think that's how Danny Blind got the job in the first place. Who else would've taken it?

The problem with that squad is that there are no Van's. What happened to all the Van's?

Well he must have missed a few terms out then because he doesn't have teams playing like Cruyff's.

Oh sorry, I thought knowing that our manager just 18 months ago answering a question about which team he'd like to manage said Liverpool would be of interest? You know, given that we're Everton.
 

Does anyone have a conclusive list of whos in favour and whos out of favour with Davek? A quick browse of the forums today definately has Koeman and Baines in the out of favour camp, no swaying him on either of these!. Williams as well maybe?

In fact as I'm typing this is springs to mind that Davek reminds me much of the self appointed guru that was Staveros if anyone ever frequented the forum on NSNO many moons ago?
 
You can argue against koeman in your devils advocate type way and I'm sure some enjoy it but surely you must see how petty and frankly tedious that latest dig is ? If you're serious that is .

Just out of interest the last everton player to lift a trophy as captain was a boyhood red , he didn't just support from afar them he actually went the game . This is a bloke that won trophies for this club and was caretaker manager . That's before we get to one of our great midfielders from our most successful team , I'm sure if I could be bothered to think there would be a fair old list .

This kind of stuff is funny as banter with opposition supporters but if you're making a serious point and in your mind it's actual serious well I'm sorry it's pathetic.

Well, Van der Vaart is playing in Denmark. Can't quite wrap my head around that still. But honestly it just stems from his wife playing handball here.

Van Basten is at FIFA i believe?

Van Bronckhorst is doing a great, great job as Feyenoord manager.

RVP is tanning in Turkey with Erdogan.

Van Nistelrooy is probably doing some stuff at PSV.

Van Bommel is punching some winger somewhere.



Which "Van's" are there now? Van Diejk, Van Aarnholt and Van Ginkel?
