I've just told you. In 03/04 when abrahomvic purchased the club he could've easily afforded to use some of his £10bn+ wealth but didn't he's waited 13 years. Moshiri done it in 13 months. If what we are doing is so easy and risk free to those at the top of our club, why didn't Kenwright do it himself?

For me this is a major obstacle cleared as we now have Peel's buy in to the stadium project and from what people have told me Peel are notorious to deal with, the next challenge is to secure the finance to deliver it.

Now EFC has control of the site the club can now submit a application for their plans on the site just gutted we will have to wait a year to it to be submitted so I guess securing the finance is key here.

The lower interest repayments through this structure would mean more matchday income (allowed revenue) going back into strengthening the playing squad.

Low interest(Council deal) is more expensive than no interest(Moshiri's pocket).

Moshiri can't pay out of pocket for players under FFP, that money has to be generated from within the club, nothing stopping him paying out of pocket for the stadium though.

i think im getting it now...

with this type of arrangement we will be saving tens of millions per season in loan repayments, which will enable us to use those funds on players/wages instead.
