Just reading some posts, its as if when we run into inevitable problems, some people think that the stadium will be already doomed at that point. Just fold and give up.
If that was not the case, they could make an announcement today and start construction tomorrow.
You can't do anything on this scale and please everybody, so there will be plenty of issues to contend with and no absolute guarantees.
The funding model will certainly raise eyebrows amongst those without blue-tinted glasses (and for some with them, too) but surely on the basis of 3 failed moves already, the club have to consider this as well more than achievable at this stage.
The biggest issues will probably be political and presentational, but we already have active co-operation and goodwill from LCC.
The sooner we can get a spade in the ground the better though, there is nothing more tangible than visible progress.

...nobody in the Council works after 5pm, they're all out of the office by 4pm. If big Joe's announcement is at 5pm I reckon it's a recorded message.
