I remember him doing that regularly at matches while recuperating. Good guy, loved the club, played really well until the injury. Never whinged or maligned the club. can't imagine why people don't like him.

seems you mix his loyalty and spirit with some of the really talented but eyes-elsewhere types and you'd have a spectacular Evertonian.

First got into Everton when he was the first choice left back for a while and thought he seemed a brilliant left back.

Did he not keep Baines out the team for a time of was Baines just injured?

Nice Words indeed. It's a pity Oviedo didn't come back stronger after a similar injury as he was quality before it and nowhere near the same level afterwards hence well we know the rest. Thankfully (hopefully) Seamus is mentally stronger
