Negged is the lexicon of GrandOldTeam.com

You seem to be a very angry person I have noticed. Dave makes some valid points about Improving Massively and you abused him for no reason.

Do you mean, 'negged is in the lexicon of Grand Old Team' mate?

sorry to correct you on grammar, but what you had written didn't make much grammatical sense really.

and yes, i am a very angry man mate, steam rises from my ears whenever i type a post

OR

alternatively - i could just think Dave is an absolutely bell, a WUM and toxic for the forum long term, but heyho - you obviously enjoy his fishing and wumming and when the forum dies you'll migrate like loads did when kipper went the same way

This is a thread about Ross Barkley and not your personal and unwarranted abuse of a poster who just happens to have a different view to you.

Have you thought about supporting the forum yourself, rather than simply leeching, to stop it from "dying" (which it palpably isn't)?

Anyways, Barkley, good player, would be good if he did a few more dribbles to pad the stats

LOL, yeah mate, paying a sub to the forum makes you a better Evertonian doesn't it, also makes your opinion more valid, if all the leechers suddenly disspaeared btw - then the forum would cease to exist - a little thing called ad revenue would take a 'tad' of a hit.

either way, did i tag you in the post when i 'gave Dave unwarranted abuse'? didn't think so, maybe keep your nose out of it then, hard to do - because you do seem somewhat angry a lot of the time - or maybe that's your internet persona mate?

Agree about Barkley though, boss player, think he dribbles enough personally though.

Not a better evertonian no, just someone keen to support the site, which refutes your earlier suggestion

With this being a forum, you don't need to tag someone in for them to be able to reply to your posts. Otherwise it would be a private messaging service.

I'm not angry at all mate. In fact, the new upgrade to the forum shows I've "liked" 57,000 times - a lot - because I've always sought to encourage good Everton chat. I don't think abusing fellow posters like David is very nice.

I think you've had a bit of a meltdown here and that's ok. You'll calm down soon and likely apologise.

The stats rightly suggest that Barkley does need to dribble a bit more and also score more goals.

Night night sweetcheeks.

Your stats are useless and your analysis of a player like Barkley is embarrassingly clunky.

Stick to scouting the Kazakhstan Premier League mate.

Stick to watching gundogan play for man United mate ;)

Or alternatively stick to watching Southampton as you seem to know more about their youth players than our own.

Love you really mate, but honestly just give it a bloody rest.

That 'womble' insult you narrowed at Dave would be more suitable directed at your goodself. You're not covering yourself in glory here. Why start a slanging match with fellow blues just because they have a different opinion. Get a life you spoilt little child.

The "love you mate " after he's just lost his rag and slated him too, all a bit cringey. Reminds me of how the fans treated Barkley earlier in the season

Jermaine Jenas:

“If there is an element of his game that I think Barkley could take from Alli, it is that he needs to keep the ball moving forwards when he picks it up in the opposition half. Too many times, his first touch seems to take him back into midfield instead. But that could be put down to his confidence, because he seems to be in a different situation to Alli right now.

While Alli has emerged as a key figure for Spurs, Barkley will not have the same feeling that he is his team’s main man. He is close to it, but I feel that he is being held back from what he is capable of. That is partly as a result of some of the negative comments Koeman has made about him this season and also because he always seems to get moans and groans from the crowd if things do not go right for him. If he was playing with the same belief as Alli, he would be a different beast.”

Spot on for me that. Underlines the belief I hold that Ross's game has been neutered by Koeman and not enhanced. We have a lot more bits and pieces tracking back and playing the ball off short, but almost expunged from his game now are creative bursts forward taking the opposition on and driving them back. That is backed up statistically, by the way....

Average number of dribbles per game:

Season 2016/17 1.4

Season 2015/16 3.1

Season 2014/15 3.0

The absolute state of that post. Everyone sees a massive improvement, apart from one person....what a surprise.

Said, 'love you really mate' do quote accurately thanks.

As for your opinion, your entitled to it mate, but as me and Dave have crossed paths in loads of threads over the years I'm pretty sure he wasn't taking it as personally as you seemed to. Similarly to when Dave throws stuff back at me like the Kazakhstan stuff etc I don't take it as a grievous insult.
