I know you are all busy gushing over him, but please, we were all jacking off about Deulofeu in here a few years ago.
You're right that we shouldn't get too carried away but the big difference here is when Del had his first few cameos we said things like 'when he's fit enough to last a full match he'll be...' or 'once he's sorted his positional sense out he'll be...'. The difference with Lookman is he played first team competitive football for a long time at Charlton in a very tough league before coming here. He's much more of a well rounded player already.

Interestingly I disagree with your last two sentences , in a positive way. Lookman's background for me makes him raw not well rounded. He's got exceptional natural talent but in terms of games played and coaching years experienced he's still very much on an upward learning curve. When Del joined us he had had years of coaching at Barcelona's renowned La Masia and had played at least one season for their reserves in the Spanish second division, more games at a higher or at least equivalent level than Lookman. Just different way of looking at it and different opinions, either way come August we'll certainly have an even more well rounded and exciting player on our hands.

yer, it's just a question of, when he weighs more than eight stone then.

He's boss but why does he always have the expression like a wasp has flew up his arse

That's his "what you talking about Willis?" face...
