Ronald Koeman discussion

Can't see him next in line for Barca. Style of football isn't quite there yet, other managers/ex players seem to be further along the conveyor belt. The Barca hierarchy will be conscious of the fan frustration that Enrique has supposedly turned his back on the Crieff/Pep way, I think they'll look for someone of that ilk rather than Koeman currently. If he wins trophies with us and gets us into CL he will become unavoidable for them though. Not just yet though.

If you're reading mr Barca president, here's a guy who knows how to keep those pass number stats high

Koeman is up their in the odds as he is still a legend for Barca. Sort of the way we felt about JR or HK, so nothing much to do with his managerial record. I would think the money people, the decisions makers, would look at the guy's cv first, but then, did Everton, when we hired JR and HK back in the day?

He doesn't normally jump ship until at least two seasons in mate.

So we've got at least one more season by my reckoning.

Plus Barca are more than capable of turning the tie against PSG around and all will be forgotten x

Barca will not turn that around!!! but i see where you are coming from with the 2 years

Its strange the way Koeman only ever signs 3 yr contracts. So after 2 years a club can get him out for a nominal fee
It's not strange for a man who is confident in his own abilities. Managers like Big Sam and Pardew would jump at the chance for a long contract as they don't know if this is as good as it gets for them. Ronnie knows he's good so wants to keep his options open at all times. Can't blame him for that really.

I agree it shows he has ambition!!! couldn't get him on one of them 7yr Pardew deals lol

Other than Moyes at United. Struggle to think of many new many new managers getting a longer one.

Sure some Wiki addict will pull me up, but Klopps 6 year deal was an extension, as was Martinez here.

Your right its that cut throat now I suppose its the way the game has moved in the last few years
