I was at the game mate, the whole atmosphere changed when they scored their first, as soon as the 2nd went in it turned a bit nasty, until Ronny made a change and we got a foothold back into the game.
Well we can agree to differ on that.
I tell you what we cant differ on though: when a manager of Everton advises the club's best signing for the past 30 years to move away from Everton for the good of his career that person most definitley is not, never will be and indeed can never be an Evertonian.
And @davek
For pity sakes fellas, can't this petty, school playground squabbling stop?
@MorgsGoat ?I didnt think it was that quick to be fair. It changed before they got the 1st, because we weren't pressing, but when they scored, it became much more vocal. Then Mccarthy Should've scored to put it beyond them but fluffed it, got subbed straight away for Davies, and the game opened up.
Davies is a different player to Mccarthy, and we lost a bit of shape, they scored the 2nd and were definitely on top, then he swapped Lookman for Mirallas, and they were still on top, as it was Mirallas who thought he'd been fouled in the build up to their free kick. We then switched to 5 at the back with what must've been 10 mins to go, because me, and a few others sitting round by me were thinking "FFS, don't sit on it"...
Then we scored 2 in a minute, 83 + 84, and only then did the tension die down.
Suppose it's different people's perspectives like, but the majority of the 2nd half felt like the set up to another terrible Everton joke. But like I said earlier, fortunately for us, Rom, and Ross, were having none of it.
No mate, the big difference between the two examples you gave was that last season against WHU we were down to 10 men for most of the game courtesy of that clueless tit Mirallas. Oh, and that WHU last season at that point were on a roll and Payet scoring for fun. Yesterday we had all 11 players and were playing a team in a terrible run of form.Reflection on the west ham game to yesterday.
Koeman changed the tactics when faced with the inevitable tide turned in the game and we then killed them off as a result. A tactical change from the manager was spot on and it was the difference between a massive turn around and another 3 points.
Martinez last season a man down and a 2 goal lead and he brought niasse on. Didn't change the tactics and gave no real instruction to the sub. We went on and lost the game.
So there is your difference in the two managers right there
Seconded.Andy why don't the powers at be do something about it ?
It's incessant in every thread.
I was at the game mate, the whole atmosphere changed when they scored their first, as soon as the 2nd went in it turned a bit nasty, until Ronny made a change and we got a foothold back into the game.
And thus it makes every thread tiresome and thus the forum tiresome.Seconded.
The "petty school playground squabbling" keeps coming up because one poster keeps WUMming the absolute hell out of everyone, on as many threads as he can, and the modding team are letting him do it.
Huh?
Not really dave, people sit in different seats.
Well I watched it on MOTD and I disagree with you too.
