ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They look absolutely spent. Shame that they managed to pick up so many points in the first half of the season. They caught a lot of teams on the hop early on but they've been well and truly figured out now.

Can genuinely see Wolves putting them out on Saturday. Their squad is so weak that any rotation will leave them vulnerable. Can't play the first team either because they're all knackered.

"I just want to have a word on luck, though. No doubt luck favours you when you're confident, and no doubt there's some bias here but...that's two key shots now cleared off the line, one here, one at Bournemouth, they could so easily have gone over. We had a few penalty shouts today - none clear, but no 'lucky' one going our way either. Every rebound seems to favour the opposition, and every referee seems to penalise us for 50/50 calls that they let slide for our opponents."

"Of course, I am biased, but I really struggle to remember many matches where I've felt we got lucky. Swansea, maybe? But that wasn't through decisions - just them missing a couple of chances in a match we still had the better of the play in."

Jesus, does he not remember the ridiculous deflection off the post against us? I'd rather not like but that was a lot of fortune used up in one go.

He's really becoming an RS, isn't he? Fully formed in his own self pity.
