Is Begovic really that much of an improvement? The last few times I have seen him have not been overly impressive.....

Hes an improvement on what we have, but, we should aim higher.

McCarthy would improve every team below us.

Supposedly Bournemouth had a £10m bid knocked back.

Not worth it, better than what we have, but not by enough to go spending decent money on him, wait till the summer then go after someone for big money really - all the teams above us cant offer a starter position so should be able to get them

Interesting window this one . With Gerry / Jags possible going and Kone Possible going, you'd have to think that we would have at least a attacking option or two lined up . Mirrallas could play as a second striker so my 2 cents would be a winger coming in ... fast athletic player ... then the CB area especially if Jags goes I can see only Kone from Sunderland being the one ....

so far - every player we let go we brought in a player in the same position, so cb and winger in if they both leave

Hand on heart though mate, and slagged the lad of loads the last season and a bit, he would improve the city team, without fernandinho they have absolutely no one who can tackle or fight for a ball
