...I've liked him. I've liked him lots. A defender who defends. I get the impression he's a highly respected figure inside the game, you can tell by how opposition players react. Top professional, great attitude to football. It's apparent he'll be going in the summer at the latest and I will always have fond memories of him.

Surprised no one has posted on this, how quickly we move on.

After Koeman comments today, seems Jags may be leaving, what a warrior and a servant. He turned into a terrific leader and has been in the vanguard of anything Everton has done well in a decade.

I just want to say that the way he was spoken about today by Koeman at his press conference, as in yeah he can leave if he finds a club, is completely disrespectful and in no way acknowledges the commitment and service he gave the club. I'm not saying that father time isn't catching up with him and may want first team football elsewhere, but he deserves more respect for his contribution and commitment then the comment of the manager today.

Very poor Koeman.

You will be missed Jags.
