Dodged bullet.

WTF we had an interest in that weapon for I dont know.

Is it a matter of chalking this up as an equaliser for Walsh after Koeman went one up by blocking the Belfodil move?

I certainly hope not , I don't disagree with the sentiment and for all I'm happy to benefit from Walsh's apparent skill as as a scout it's the manager who has to have the final say so otherwise we might as well all go home .

What they proving by doing that mate ?

I'm asking the question rather than asserting it as fact. But reading a few other people on the forum suggests that there's a difference of opinion on targets between manager and DoF.

If so, it'll be a fascinating trial of strength. The manager appears senior, but any DoF is employed by owners to outlast managers and make sure a consistent way of operating continues over time.

An issue I've highlighted before now is how vague Koeman is over this 'final say'. He never seems to want to declare it's him. You would assume so, but that's all it can be, an assumption.
