Yep. Can't believe he got hooked against Leicester when we were chasing a game while Gareth Barry plodded round midfield looking on death's door. On what planet do we need two defensive midfielders when a team are camped on their own 6 yard line and we've got 10 minutes for a goal to stay in the FA Cup? Plus it meant the 47 forwards we had on the pitch stood round with no one to give them a decent pass or link the play.

At home, unless we're against the top sides, Barkley should be in midfield with Gueye or McCarthy and we could get a proper number 10 in or even try someone else there. I can understand two battlers when we're away or against the likes of Chelsea but we couldn't keep hold of the ball for a few seconds at home to Swansea the other week ffs. We should just be taking the piss out of teams like that.

Had a dream last night, Ross suddenly appeared in the main stand at half time singing some beautiful song which was very cinematic (think of some crappy musical). Then there was crowd trouble á la West Ham between the boo boys and the ones admiring his musical talents? I tried to find a working stream but couldn't find any - it was an absolute nightmare. We ended up winning 4-2 against Stoke I think so Ross was sound. Yeah. Weird dreams are weird.

Too much of a "gamble"

And you'd need better players in front of him or at least more balanced players than we have.

Personally still think he can be like Eriksson.

Eriksson sees the game better than Ross IMO. Sees things quicker.

True but personally, for us and for a English player, he's got it in his locker. Ross picks up similar positions and uses the ball similar for me.

But Eriksen also has better movement/players around him. Hes Spurs best player by a mile for me.

Yes but the problem is that Ross just doesnt has that aggression. He also doesnt have the football intelligence that Dembele has.

Btw, dembele was a striker when he played in Holland.
