On what planet do we need two defensive midfielders when a team are camped on their own 6 yard line and we've got 10 minutes for a goal to stay in the FA Cup? Plus it meant the 47 forwards we had on the pitch stood round with no one to give them a decent pass or link the play.
At home, unless we're against the top sides, Barkley should be in midfield with Gueye or McCarthy and we could get a proper number 10 in or even try someone else there. I can understand two battlers when we're away or against the likes of Chelsea but we couldn't keep hold of the ball for a few seconds at home to Swansea the other week ffs. We should just be taking the piss out of teams like that.
