Looks like it was a genuine back page story by the Guardian, that was picked up by the scum.
Both have now pulled it.
Perhaps they received a phone call from a lawyer acting on behalf of Usmanov, Mosh or EFC denying it's accuracy.
This story won't run in any credible publication tomorrow but it may well be, partially at least, truthful. For example the official sponsorship may not name USM directly.
We'll find out the truth in due course.

The BBC has tomorrow's Gossip Collum up already and that's a bunch of story's from tomorrow's papers, with links to be pressed, so if they gave tomorrow's transfer 'news' from the back pages, why is there no link to this story?

Well as its been confirmed by a few outlets, it looks as though there was an embargo until 12am, thats why it wasnt anywhere else. As I say, they probably didnt count on eagle eyed everton fans spotting it on a Millwall stafium story.

It's a deal Mr Usmanov. Welcome to Goodison. Can you give us some idea what sort of naming rights you had in mind?

I demand to be named in the team for every match without fail.

Nice jacket.
