At 18.44 this was on the Echo website coverage..........

Robert Elstone speaks of "Optimism" but one "tempered" by understanding risks and issues. He also talks of working with Liverpool City Council on finding the funding for a new stadium. He says the next couple of months will be "critical".

The highlighted bit worries me, surprised no one has picked up on it.
Funding for road infrastructure and surround area prep

TV deal has gone up by more, China are chucking in £10m on top of that.. its no great shakes
The to deal hasn't gone up from the start of the season, our wage bill-to-revenue ratio already wasn't great, this extra £30m every season isn't easyily explained. The TV money would've been the same had Lenwright been here, would this AGM had offered us the same positivity and ambitions?

Not sure how designing, costing, investigating transport initiatives, securing funding, and securing planning permission can be classed as 'shenanigans'.

Until they commit to a city centre option, or the redevelopment of goodison then I will be hugely sceptical. A bad window isn't great but there's another one in 5 months. A bad stadium choice and the repurcussions are for life.

Plus we are actually hoping to pay cash money for players, not just wages.
