Well yes, we did express an interest......in July. One wonders if there is any actual sign of renewed interest or if this is just tosh.

Lot's of us (myself included) really like Gylfi. Just don't see it coming off.

I think a lot of us feel we need a Sigurdsson type player - but is he fast enough for the way Koeman is looking to play? He wants players to run at the opposition.

Not fast in pace, but fast in thought and the way he moves the ball on. Something we definitely lack.

Nah, Ross is going nowhere.

Options are always nice though. But yeh, more pressing needs than Sig IMO, unless Koeman wants him to be one of the 'wide forwards' in this faux 4-3-3 - kind of like how he used Tadic last two years.

I think you could play him anywhere across the forward positions. Be good for us retaining the ball up top which is something we're not brilliant at.

As I say I personally would be surprised if we had any interest in Sigi, cracking player, but not what we need.

Clearly he would be ideal to "replace" Ross in case of dips in form or injury, but I dunno, just doesnt strike me of the player we need going forward.
