Dave, is it not possibly good management that Koeman realised Southampton would tire towards the end of the game. He started with 2 youngsters to run them ragged early doors and then changed it round in the last 20 mins to take advantage of their weiry legs. Just a thought, Bloody good management if he didA team has also to prepare and train for opponents and two days less is a massive ask to do quick turnaround preparations.
Question: would you have liked us to have been the team playing it's third game today over the last 6 days, or would you have preferred we were the team that had the 8 days schedule?
That's 48 hours resting up and preparation time more that we had. Do you really think that wouldn't have a huge part to play in the result?
