Still like to see him play a deeper role. Remember a few years ago when he was more a box to box midfielder. He's not got the ability to be that link between a static Lukaku and two deep lying midfielders, not sure anyone can do that successfully, but I think he can dictate the tempo of a game playing deeper.

I'd say he's got a handful of games left to prove himself to koeman. He failed miserably in the derby

After Arsenal was the last time I'll be holding out any hope at all that he'll turn the corner and fulfill his potential here. I've seen the whole *get dropped, return with a good performance, immediately return to pre-dropping form* routine one time too many to be arsed now. Until he gets his act together I'd prefer we looked for players who can contribute meaningfully in more than the odd game.

I think he'd be boss at United, Chelsea, Arsenal Spurs or even Liverpool. I think they would find the right way to play him, they all have a player who is given a license to roam, we can't do that here.

Imagine thinking we're going to swap Barkley for Sissoko when:

1. Sissoko is horrendous
2. Spurs do not want Ross Barkley
