Once he was our most reliable defender now giving away penalties like its gone out fashion and sent off tonight.

i know that time catches up with us all but heck his form has dived big style, so what's happened to him ????

Thought he did well tonight, 1st was never a card and knew the red was coming but took it anyway to stop an attack.

Didn't see tonight but in general it's age. I've seen it with watson, weir, stubbs and carragher for the rs. Once the legs go they're done, positioning sense goes because they're frightened of getting done for pace on the turn and they start making stupid decisions.

He's been a brilliant player for us thiugh

Did alright today and almost scored but yes, this. Assuming Funes doesn't randomly give the ball away not having Jags in the lineup might benefit us this weekend. the RS would have ran by him like he's standing still.

If Jags' challenge on coquelin is a booking, then conquelin's tackle on Baines in the second half needed to be a yellow as well. Inconsistent from Clattenberg there.

I guess you're right, but on the whole the referee was excellent tonight.
