Despite even heavier penalties now being eligible for using mobile phones while driving, this morning on the M60 no fewer than five cars in a row overtook me with the driver either clearly holding and talking into a mobile held up in front of them or worse still, texting... and as I was on cruise control at 50mph in a restricted speed area, they were all speeding too !!!

If there is such a thing as re-incarnation, I think I'd want to come back as a traffic cop - I would solve the congestion problem by oiking all these idiots off the road with bans.
