Right, so you can provide some sort of evidence of this?

Cos I only recall him playing RB.

I would imagine every single footballer that made the PL at some time played in pretty much any position, as they would have been head and shoulders above anyone else in a school, or amateur side.

We had a lad who nearly made the grade in a team I played for. Made I think 3 pro games for Bristol City when Terry Cooper had no players, so lobbed the kids in. (Div 4 iirc).

In our works side, he was so much better he would have been our best sticker, CB, winger, whatever.

And thats a lad who played 3 more pro games than me. Not a lad who won the lot at United.

Ive no doubt that Neville has played CB at some point in his career.

I'd like to see him give 3 at the back a go. You could have:
Stek
Holgate-Williams-Funes
Coleman-Barkley-Barry-Gueye-Baines
Lukaku-Valencia

Lukaku then has some support, no need for any of our wingers, Ross can drop back a bit.

The team press and attack as individuals rather than a team.

They defend as a team...as 9 players generally get behind the ball.

He also doesnt seem to be building a side around an individual player, which is probably another reason why it doesnt seem to be working well.
