Apart from the sideways passing from the back ..... I at least got excited under Martinez when we actually went in to the oppositions half.
This sums up you up - points made were valid and imo in good faith, dare I say it what is probably needed. Here it comes, the pat on the head.
Pat pat pat, well done guys, 'Saints fan in peace'
Tie your nuts to your sanctimony-filled balloon and float off back to that cesspit near Portsmouth
like all the RS fans on here ....Ha haHere it comes, the pat on the head.

Name the players, we're not decent and we won't be in the top 10 much longerWhy not? We've got players that can compete against these teams.
We're not playing well right now, but that can all change. We're a decent top 10 outfit. These kind of runs are par for course in a team in our position. Hopefully we'll get ourselves out of it soon.
Centre backs all over the place, defence not tall enough or fast enough, no creativity in midfield and a general lack of aggression throughout the team. It's going to be a long season lads.
like all the RS fans on here ....Ha ha
I've never understood it all mate.
@neville used to do it, right up until we pumped them 3-0 at home and the mask slipped off like @moyes cardy 's kecks in the bushes outside of Finch Farm.
The same 'fans in peace' are never on here to talk shop when it's not a win for them - save @Alan Whittle probably.
Lukaku and pressing will never happen mate he is far to selfish and lazy for that!!!In Koeman's first season, a lot of the pressing was the remains of Poch's high press, but over his tenure the amount of pressing decreased. He always talked about pressing high up the pitch, but from my experience it was more of just being organised behind the ball, and closing down angles and options, as opposed to the 'full press' he talks about.
During our brilliant run last year, we basically ditched Pelle, and brought in Long, who's energy allowed to us engage in more of a full press, of which we reaped the reward. I don't know if you have the pacey tireless forward needed to recreate the same results. Although with Lukaku (who I really rate) it should be a matter of when, not if, you find the system that works.
Fed up of fuming and being sick of them and another weekend spoilt

@Sunderland afc is a good lad as well.

when they went down a few seasons agoI agree , but Unsy's under 23 players probably are -example Tom Davis came on v chelsea and looked the best midfielder dropped!Only problem Joe is that the subs are also not good enough..
Williams is rubbish, fat, slow and utterly rubbishJust got home. Excellent after match curry!
Anyway. That was horrendous.
But I'm still with the manager. His 4 signings were, for me, the only decent players today.
Stek was fine from the second minute onwards and that one save looked outstanding. Was it as good as it looked from far away?
Gana looks a class above all of our squad. Had to work doubly hard today as Barry was woeful.
If anything good was going to happen today it was going to come from Bolasie. He is what he is, but not only does he not know what he's going to to next, neither do defenders. Was good today.
Williams to a lesser extent. Jags is gone for me. So Williams isn't looking so good but it's because of Jags.
The problem is the Martinez legacy players. The sooner we get rid of nearly all of them the better. Only then can I fully judge Koeman.
