Ronald Koeman discussion

during our great start most of us were still wary of how we won those matches: we didn't play well and were against weak opposition too, yet we retained faith that grinding out a few wins so early in his reign was a good sign.

What the signs are telling us now, what with 4 or 5 games coming up against really quality opposition, is that we may be in for a relegation fight.
He has to go before then.

I agree...

Wouldn't mind getting rid of Lukaku if we can use his fee to fund replacements but no one in this squad should consider themselves safe

Lukaku is obviously a cracking player and I can fully understand his frustration as he cuts an isolated figure upfront and our players do so many stupid things.

That said, his attitude is a disgrace. A truly top striker would try and make something happen himself, harry opponents, try something different. When Lukaku gets a strop on he stands offside whilst waving for the ball then moans when it doesn't come to him. He's not a leader, thats his big problem and probably the reason that he will get a move to a "massive club" like he thinks he will.

Our U23s are top of their league. They've impressed every single time they've come in while Jagielka, Coleman, Barry, Barkley are playing like utter wank every week. Why don't we give those lads a look in?!

He has an agenda against playing young talent and this has shown over the course of his career.

He's going to play this same side every week and expect different results instead of dropping those who need dropping and replacing them with genuinely good, hungry players. No different to Martinez or Moyes at all.

I never wanted him in the first place but if this continues I'll be firmly in the out camp.

I defended him against Davek & friends, but I fear I am on the wrong side this time. He needs to make big changes now or he is going to go the way of Bobby. Deserves the scrutiny now and needs to show he has more than stupid comments and a flash car.

So it is the players at fault and it is up to Walsh and Moshiri to dig out.

One wonders what we are paying £6 million a year to Koeman to do, then

7 points now from 24.

And the manager appears clueless about how to stop the rot.

Because we have had memorable seasons the last two years ? This team is garbage and blaming a manager after 6 months is really an answer ?

He hasn't been here long enough to say its HIS team so if we boot Koeman who do you suggest to replace him ?

Even the pope can't do anything with this team as the last few season told us

1 win in 9, United, Watford, Arsenal and Liverpool coming up.

4 out of that 11 are his players that he has brought in, and they are no better.

Koeman thinks he is here til Barca come calling and that attitude permeates the squad.

Why no Colgate or Davis?
Colgate is the answer. some of the dental care is shocking

He's been every bit as terrible as Martinez last season so far.

He seems a bit cold to me, like he expects players just to perform better without him actually coaching them properly, the players are just not interested, and seeing as you (unfortunately) can't sack players, the buck has to stop at his door.

Not sure I trust him to spend money either, Bolassie is garbage, and if he had his way we'd have Sissoko stinking the place out too.
