The sad thing is we have spent £13 million on Niasse, £6 million on Kone, probably a few million in fees and wages for Valencia and teh lad we let walk away is not just outscoring them but out playing them in general.

We scarcely deserved a point and we are in for a long winter. Koeman needs to up his game. He needs to ship out an absolute stack of these and start again. Despite all the nonsense spouted in the summer, we are bleeding miles off challenging again.

Back to the drawing board.

We need another top forward to partner him. He needs more space to work instead of 2 CBs controlling him. Bad performance today and can only improve with players that have more than 2 brain cells. No guile no cleverness no movement and no fluidity in passing. We couldn't press a shirt. Koeman won't make much out of this group of thick players.
